3rd Quarter Submission Feedback
After showing my 3rd quarter submission, the feedback included all areas of my magazine. The feedback I got on my cover included filling up the page more with text because I had many open areas. For my table of contents, I needed to make it into 1 page, because I had 2 pages. I also need to fill up white space on the page. For the article, I got very good feedback, although I had my summary on the bottom whereas I need to move it to the top of the page so it gives the buyer a better view on the project I wrote about. I also need to put the publisher text at the bottom of all the pages.

CCR- #4 draft
How did you integrate technologies - software, hardware, and online in this project?
As I made my product magazine, I used different computer software's that I've never seen before, got to be hands on in with my project, and researched how I would distribute my product. For the software, I used Adobe InDesign, word, and photoshop. I made my cover and table of contents using Adobe so I could be more precise with the text box’s and colors. I also used Adobe to make my flat plan for my magazine by making text boxes and including page numbers and text. I used word for my article first time around but then I used Adobe for my revision and found it was a lot easier to design. While making and taking the photos for my magazine, I had to get hands on with making the projects in order to take the photo. I got to use all the arts and crafts supplies such as paint, paper, glue, and glitter. I researched many distribution methods for my magazine and the main one was online websites. The websites sold many magazines and sponsored other magazines as well.

How did your product skills develop through this project?
Before I started this project, I only had experience in using the Photoshop design and taking photos. After all my hard work, I can say I have improved with the design purpose the most. Having photos that were magazine ready such as having a photo of the overall product, then of the steps. The step by step photos helped me improve the most because I had to match it up to the article directions. During this project I converted to In-Design software from Photoshop since I had to make articles, covers, and table of content pages. I also learned how to use illustrator for my photos to make it easier to upload them to my blog. Besides upgrading in computer software, I've learned more about the layout of pages. I learned how to make them look more professional with fancy fonts and colors.

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?
My DIY Christmas decor magazine engages with the audience by connecting with their types of styles in decorating, having projects that are very affordable, and since people use technology in the 21st century more often, it is online making it more accessible. In my magazine I have many different styles for the diverse audience. For example, I have wooden and outdoor projects such as wooden painted snowman, twig ornaments, and pinecone trees. I also have more modern projects involved for the more "basic" audience. In the modern style have glitter dear head art, white fluffy joy letters, and snowflake wall hangings.
My magazines projects included are almost under $20. While making the magazine myself, I had to get hands on myself and buy the supplies to make the project in order to fulfill my photoshoot. 90% of the projects were under $20. Some of the products under $20 are the paper Christmas lights, pinecone tree, and bow reef. The projects in my magazine are also very accessible to buy. All the supplies can be found at a local craft store and your own backyard!
My magazine would mainly be distributed as a real media text through electronics due to the 20th century advances, it would be the simplest way to get people to buy it. When the Christmas holiday season comes around each year I would have my magazine on sale on the website so many more buyers would be interested in it. My magazine would be featured on its own website and other magazine selling websites such as better homes and gardens. During the holiday season is when my magazine would be featured and sold in stores such Publix, Walmart, and Micheals.
